The five Solas:
Sola Scriptura - Scripture Alone,
Solus Christus - Christ Alone,
Sola Gratia - Grace Alone,
Sola Fide - Faith Alone,
Soli Deo Gloria - The Glory of God Alone.
Rick Warren does an OK job of defending the Bible against a call to amend it to accommodate modern thinking on controversial issues. I particularly like his assertion that it is human opinion on issues that changes, not the truth!
